Around 100 chickens have died in a fire at a farm in mid-Devon.
It broke out in the chicken shed of the farm in Sampford Peverell at about half past four yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews from Cullompton and Tiverton and the water carrier from Exeter Danes Castle were called out to deal with the incident.
