Air ambulance has taken casualty to hospital
The A380 is expected to remain closed for some time after a crash near the Ideford Dip.
The air ambulance is taking the casualty to hospital, but officers say the road will remain closed until their get an update of their injuries.
It happened at around 2.30pm at the Ideford Dip, just past the Chudleigh turn-off.
The southbound carriageway (Torbay-bound) is open, but it remains closed Exeter-bound.
