    11 hospitalised in Devon train crash

    Three people still in hospital day after incident involving two Exeter-bound trains

    Three people are thought to still be in hospital after being injured in a Great Western Railway train crash in Devon yesterday.

     

    18 people were initially hurt when two Exeter-bound GWR trains collided in Plymouth.

    One was stationary when hit was hit at low speed by the other.

    They were both due in Exeter at around quarter to five; one was due to terminate here; the second was heading to London Paddington.

    Great Western Railway's regional general manager David Crome has seen many incidents himself - but is trying to reassure passengers his company is safe.
