Craft a Beautiful Glass Daffodil or Ladybird Bowl
Celebrate Mum with a Handcrafted Glass Keepsake

This Mother’s Day, why not participate in our exclusive, one-time glass workshop where you can create either a delightful Glass Ladybird Bowl or an extraordinary Glass Daffodil? In this engaging 1-hour session, you’ll have the chance to shape molten glass, selecting from two enchanting spring-inspired designs. Whether you’re crafting a heartfelt gift for Mum or simply savouring the soothing experience of glassblowing, you’ll walk away with a unique creation that’s as personal as it is beautiful.

🔥 Why This Workshop is Special

With personalised guidance from our expert glassmaker, this one-on-one session will be tailored to your comfort level, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the creative process. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Create a Glass Daffodil: Begin by shaping the trumpet of the daffodil, blowing air to form its unique shape. Choose from vibrant yellow or soft orange, adding textures and patterns to craft a one-of-a-kind bloom. After forming the trumpet, flatten and attach another gob of glass for the base and petals, twisting the glass to create delicate flowers. As the daffodil nears completion, the trumpet is cut open and a long stem added, resulting in a bespoke flower as distinctive as Mum herself.

Craft a Ladybird Bowl: Inspired by fond memories of collecting ladybirds and flowers for Mum, you'll use the 'on hand' technique to shape molten glass into a ladybird design. This piece will transform a cherished moment of gathering flowers into a beautiful, lasting keepsake.

Both workshops offer expert guidance to perfect your creations while exploring the artistry of glassblowing. Whether creating a thoughtful gift for Mum or spending quality time with loved ones, this unforgettable experience blends craftsmanship with cherished memories. After the session, your pieces will cool over 2–3 days before they’re ready for collection or delivery.*
