Staff at Exeter University could go on strike next month in a row over pensions.
The action is part of a national campaign organised by the University and College Union.
They say a typical lecturer will end up ten thousand pounds a year worse off in retirement as a result of proposed changes.
Staff are due to walk out in an escalating programme of strikes...beginning with two days of protests.
A spokesman for the University says they hope discussions will lead to industrial action being avoided.
