Cats could also be at risk
Devon's RSPCA is looking for information to find a hedgehog killer.
The little one was found in Totnes last Friday with blood around its nose and mouth.
Vets found he'd been poisoned.
The RSPCA says cats could also be at risk from someone harming animals in the area.
RSPCA inspector Beccy Wadey said: “It’s awful to think this poor little hedgehog endured such a horrible death, and locals are now very concerned that if the hedgehog ate something that was left out on purpose to deliberately harm them, that their pets such as cats would also be at risk."
