A temporary home is needed for one of the newest recruits to the Devon and Cornwall police force... an 11-week old puppy.
The German Shepherd, called Betty, is too young to begin her training to become a police dog, and needs a home for nine months to help with socialisation.
The police are looking for a family who have a garden and are able to devote enough time to walking and grooming the dog.
The Force will pay for food and vets' bills, and the family will also receive training and advice from the police dog training school.
