Three others hurt
One person has died and three others are injured following an industrial incident in the Torridge area.
Emergency service were called to West Country Concrete Products in Shebbear just before 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
One of the injured people was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Two others suffered minor injuries and were treated at hospital before being discharged.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed and is working with Devon and Cornwall Police to help their inquiries.
A spokesperson for the HSE said: "Our thoughts are with those affected by this incident and their families during this sad time."
