'Bear-hug' as watch snatched
A woman who gave a pensioner an unwanted bear-hug whilst another snatched his watch is being sought by police.
The victim, a man in his eighties, was approached on Garfield Road, Paignton by two unknown women at around 5pm on Friday 1 September.
The women asked him for directions which he began to provide before one of them pulled him towards her in a bear-hug. As this happened, the other women pulled off his Rolex watch causing him injury to his wrist.
Both women made off with the watch.
Police say they appreciate that the images they have released of the suspects are not high quality, they are appealing to the public as someone may recognise the women.
Anyone who has any information is asked to ring police quoting reference 50230238260.
