Another taken to hospital
One person has died and another has been taken to hospital following a crash in Torquay in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash in Barton Road, Torquay, at about 2.10 a.m.
Devon and Cornwall Police says on occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Their family has been informed.
A second person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for several hours for a forensic examination. Police are asking for witnesses to the crash to get in touch.
