There could be more electric cars on Devon's roads if residents and business owners sign up to a government scheme to install charge points across the area.
Property owners across the South west can now apply for the government subsidised scheme after a previous initiative missed the region out.
According to a new survey, motorists here travel fewer than 30 miles a day in their cars which would cost around 70 pence in electricity.
