Syrian refugees look set to be resettled in east Devon.
The district council is looking for homes with at least two bedrooms which are available to rent out to vulnerable families fleeing the crisis in their home country, and wants to hear from private landlords with suitable properties.
The refugees would be given five-year tenancy agreements, as they're granted humanitarian protection status for that period of time.
The rent would be based on the local housing allowance rate - linked to how much housing benefit a tenant can claim if renting their home from a private landlord.
