Bus services suspended ahead of hurricane

Stagecoach takes precautions in North Devon

Stagecoach has suspended bus services in North Devon until at least lunchtime on Friday.

The announcement comes as Storm Eunice is set to hit the south west.

The Met Office has declared a red weather warning for North Devon, much of Cornwall and parts of Mid Devon.

It means there is a risk to life.

Stagecoach will reassess the situation after the storm has passed through and then take a view on reintroducing services.

Some Exeter based services that connect with North Devon will be unable to serve parts of their routes for example our 5s. The 155 and 6/6A will not operate.

Plymouth to Bristol Falcon services from 1 a.m. until at least the service leaving Plymouth at 9 a.m.
