The family of missing man Mark Soutar have been informed
Police say the family of a missing 48-year-old man from Devon has been informed, after a body was found on Woodbury Common yesterday [23 October].
Mark Soutar had been reported missing from Ottery St Mary since Tuesday morning.
Police added in a statement: "Emergency services were called to Woodbury Common at around 6.20pm yesterday evening (Wednesday 23 October) after locating a vehicle in the area. A man within the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene."
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
