Motorcycle and HGV involved
A motorcyclist has life-changing injuries following a crash Near East Allington in the South Hams.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A381 just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday [15 June]. A silver BMW K1200 motorbike and a white DAF heavy goods vehicle had collided.
The motorcycle rider was airlifted to Derriford Hospital. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The road was closed for nearly five hours.
