There is an appeal for witnesses after a man was attacked trying to stop a group of young people stealing from a delivery truck in Okehampton.
It happened outside the town’s Waitrose on Thursday [20 February] at around 3.30pm, a busy time outside the store.
The victim was a man aged in his 50s who attempted to stop a group of male youths stealing by the supermarket in School Way.
One person is believed to have filmed the incident on their mobile phone.
