    33 year old man stabbed outside Torquay supermarket

    It happened yesterday lunchtime.

    Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed outside Lidl in Torquay yesterday lunchtime (Wednesday 29th May).

    The 33 year old left the shop when the car he was in was approached and kicked by three males.


    The victim left the car and was chased across Newton Road where the assault took place.


    He sustained a serious stab wound to his back.


    He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.


    It is believed that all parties are known to each other.


    Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by phone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/047474/19.
