Pizza restaurant launching in Exeter

Franco Manca opens its doors next week - and they'll donate pizzas to local charities

To celebrate the launch on Tuesday 25th June, Franco Manca has pledged to donate one pizza to a local homeless charity or shelter for each bought. Not only that, each pizza on the menu will be available to customers for just £5 until 9th July.

The move top Exeter follows the company’s previous initiatives to help those without food or shelter, such as throughout last December, when the restaurant donated thousands of pizzas to help those going hungry.

Customers will be able to order one of the daily specials or choose from seven regular meat, veg and vegan pizza options, including fan-favourite ‘the no. 4’, which features Cornish cured ham, wild mushrooms and a mix of mozzarella and buffalo ricotta.

Andrea Pezzella, Franco Manca’s Exeter Head Pizzaiolo, says: “We can’t wait to open the doors of our brand new pizzeria to Exeter’s residents. It’s an amazing city and we’re so excited to share our delicious sourdough with you, whilst supporting local foodbanks and homeless shelters, by donating one pizza for every pizza bought during our opening period. Pop by and say hi in the first two weeks and enjoy any pizza on the menu for just £5, teamed with a selection of quality products from local craft brewers and natural Italian wine – our Exeter launch is guaranteed to be a big hit!”
