Chiefs through to Premier 15s final

Exeter beat Saracens in the last minute

Exeter Chiefs are in the final of the Premier 15s after beating Saracens at Sandy Park.

Saracens led 14, 0 at the half time stage after dominating the first 40 minutes of the semi-final.

Two tries down, the Chiefs had to turn the game around if there was any chance of getting into the final and ending Saracens’ perfect semi-finals record.

Exeter came out looking like a different team in the second half and with two minutes left on the clock the hosts were just a few points behind the Londoners.

Eventually Saracens' Georgia Evans was shown a yellow card in the 78th minute and winger Eilidh Sinclair took her chance and touched down to seal victory for the Exeter Chiefs.

This means Exeter are in their second Premier 15s final in a row and will play Gloucester-Hartpury in the final at Kingsholm on Saturday 24 June.

A disappointing league season for the men who are eclipsed by the women.
