Seaton's Gateway launches fundraiser
Seaton's beloved Gateway Theatre is calling on the community to help save it from shutting for good.
The popular entertainment venue on Fore Street is preparing to reopen its doors soon, following its closure since December and a community fundraising effort.
The theatre will relaunch with a Gelos Comedy Laughter Lab night on May 23rd, headlined by Andrew Maxwell, and a major fundraiser gig with the Riviera Dogs on Saturday, June 7th, who are generously donating their fee.
This reopening has been made possible by incredible community support and marks a significant step for the vital cultural hub.
However, the fundraising must continue to address ongoing financial challenges, building work and equipment upgrades.
The Gateway urgently needs £60,000 to raise essential upgrades and to keep going for years to come.
