Media training
Don’t miss the plentiful opportunities to develop your profile by appearing in the press and broadcast media.
Our key media training course is a one-day session for up to four people from your organisation where you will build confidence and hone your messages so you become an accomplished media spokesperson.
Our training takes place at a live broadcast centre in Exeter, or we can come to you. We’ll get you interview-ready, and show you the tricks of the trade, so you’re set to shine when it comes to talking to journalists or appearing on air.

Our courses mix theory and practical exercises, and you will get to experience the nerves and the thrill which come with appearing on camera and in front of a microphone.

Who we are
Radio Exe is one of the UK’s few independent commercial radio stations, broadcasting across Devon and East Cornwall.
Focused unashamedly on local content and packed with news and information from the south west, we’re the only professional radio station broadcasting daytime programmes seven days a week from Devon.
And we operate the Local Democracy Reporting Service for Devon. This BBC-funded scheme ensures high standards of journalism to cover democratic institutions in the county.
Our trainers are all hugely experienced journalists or broadcasters, with backgrounds in local, national or international media and business.
