Rally and Vigil on 24 February, in support of the tragic 2nd anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Amidst the beginning of the 2nd year of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, a vigil for Ukraine will take place at Exeter's city centre on the 24th of February.
The rally will take place at Bedford Square from 14:30. At 15:30, we'll move into St. Stephens Church for a short prayer. This will be followed by worldwide Ukrainian War Time Poetry readings 'Reading For Odesa', in partnership with the University of Exeter and the Exeter City of Literature. These readings will be also accompanied by children's drawings to be sent to Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines.
Reading for Odesa is a cultural event that takes place simultaneously in Milan and in 14 other UNESCO Creative Cities of Literature that have joined the initiative: Wroclaw, Krakow, Edinburgh, Exeter, Iasi City, Kuhmo, Lillehammer, Ljubljana, Manchester, Melbourne, Nottingham, Quebec City, Reykjavik, Tukums.
