I had to take time off work yesterday afternoon to collect my child from school - which closed early because of the snow. What rights do I have to be paid for my absence?
What are my rights about taking my children out of certain lessons at school? My 11 year old is now getting classes that include right for gay people in what they call his spiritual, moral and social classes. I actually think it’s immoral. The school say he has to do the classes. Is that right?
Administrators were called in to my company this week. We all turned up on Wednesday morning to find accountants there telling us we’re all redundant. We had to collect our things there and then and go. IT looks like the company can’t pay us redundancy pay, and we may not get January’s wages. We’re upset and don’t know what to do. Do we have any rights at all?
We're buying an empty house that has been though probate. Our buyer is renting, so there's no chain. According to the online conveyors we're nearly there. I paid about £500 already - will this hold up the sale if we change conveyances?
